This month's update for our AppDetectivePRO and DbProtect Knowledgebase is now available.
Knowledgebase version 4.53 includes new checks for Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL and Oracle Database, as well as, updated checks for IBM DB2 for Linux, UNIX and Windows (LUW) and three new policies for DISA STIG.

- Verifies that the server is not vulnerable to Microsoft SQL Server Remote Code Execution Vulnerabilities reported in Microsoft Security Bulletin MS15-058.

MySQL
- DBMS dedicated software directory and partition
- Checks that DBMS data and software files are stored in dedicated directories or disk partitions separate from operating system files.

- Verifies that the host on which MySQL server is installed is not a Domain Controller.

- DISA-STIG SQL Server 2012 V1R7 - Audit (Built-in)—This policy has been created with guidance of the configuration parameters outlined by the DISA-STIG Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Security Technical Implementation Guide Version 1, Release 7
- Please note that AppDetectivePRO users should use the DISA STIG NEW! Policy because the new policies are part of the superset of DISA STIG policies.

All AppDetectivePRO and DbProtect customers with maintenance (subscription or perpetual) in good standing can download the latest Knowledgebase Update 4.53 by visiting the Trustwave support portal at https://trustwave.com/Company/Support and selecting either the AppDetectivePRO or DbProtect product.
AppDetectivePRO customers can also update their deployment by launching the "Updater" within the product.
