Trustwave and Cybereason Merge to Form Global MDR Powerhouse for Unparalleled Cybersecurity Value. Learn More
Frost & Sullivan analysts investigated 70 market participants and recognized Trustwave as one of 15 Innovators in the field. The report noted that Trustwave’s Fusion platform allows clients to manage and view their cybersecurity status, and elite SpiderLabs are driving factors behind being honored.
“Trustwave Fusion, a security operations platform that integrates and enriches data from over 750 third-party sources, including cloud, network, endpoints, and email. Furthermore, Trustwave’s MDR service is enhanced with threat intelligence by SpiderLabs, the vendor’s renowned team of skilled, veteran security researchers, ethical hackers, threat hunters, forensic investigators, and incident responders.”
Other Trustwave offerings called out to support the company’s standing as an Innovator include its cyber advisory, penetration testing, virtual CISO and managed vulnerability scanning capabilities.
“Thanks to increasing sales growth and client expansion, Trustwave is poised for accelerated future growth,” the report stated.
Frost & Sullivan noted that Trustwave’s Fusion-supported MDR solution allows clients to increase their cyber defenses instantly.
“Trustwave Fusion’s instant out-of-the-box integration magnifies and multiplies value for customers with existing security stacks, who don’t need to buy additional solutions from the vendor to have an effective MDR service immediately,” the analyst firm said.
Frost & Sullivan noted that MDR offerings, such as Trustwave’s, are no longer simply a nice addition to a cybersecurity portfolio but a necessity.
“The lack of security professionals is becoming more pronounced with each passing year. In the US alone, nearly half a million cybersecurity jobs were unfilled by August 2021,” the report said. “Lacking access to professionals and unable to effectively protect their businesses, organizations turn to managed services to cover their security needs. MDR service providers have experienced professional teams that can support organizations in the form of threat detection and response.”
However, factors ranging far outside the cybersecurity industry make it clear that most organizations are not prepared to defend themselves properly.
