Trustwave Government Solutions (TGS) has attained authorized status by the State Risk and Authorization Management Program (StateRAMP) for its Government Fusion platform.

TGS has also been active on the federal government front.
In January 2024, TGS announced that its Government Fusion platform had been designated as “In Process Program Management Office (PMO) Review” by the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP). Once TGS receives final FedRAMP authorization, it will become the first and only pure-play Managed Detection and Response (MDR) provider to achieve this designation. Defining StateRAMP

The program was created in 2020 by a committee of state security and information experts in response to a rise in cyberattacks that exploit cloud security vulnerabilities. StateRAMP's goal is to improve the cybersecurity posture of public institutions and their citizens.
StateRAMP is based on the current version of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) publication 800-53, the same publication used to establish FedRAMP and SLED organizations to trust potential vendors’ commitment to providing secure products by allowing public sector members to review the authorized product list and view continuous monitoring of products through a secure portal.
StateRAMP's goal is to ensure its member vendors meet best-in-class standards throughout their contract lifespan. StateRAMP provides insight into a provider's products, allowing members to make informed decisions under tight timelines for low costs while keeping competition open to providers of all sizes.
