Today we released our annual 2014 Trustwave Global Security Report, a landmark compendium of compromise and threat statistics that we gathered from 691 data breach investigations conducted across the world and telemetry pulled from our award-winning technologies and 24/7 global security operations centers.
We took these mountains of findings, assessed what mattered most to you and then contextualized our research. It wasn't easy, but what resulted was a compelling, digestible and beautifully illustrated 123-page report that sheds much-needed light onto the way modern-day attackers think and operate; the tools, techniques and weapons they use to commit data intrusions; and how organizations must respond.
The 2014 Trustwave Global Security Report isn't meant to be a one-and-done read. In fact, we don't even recommend you try reading through the entire report at once, from start to finish. Instead, view this document as an essential resource that you should reference throughout the year, from day to day, week to week, month to month or project to project.
Most importantly, the statistics contained inside have value that transcends the IT and security teams. That wasn't by accident. We recognize as much as you do that security is a companywide objective, one which receives more C-level and boardroom interest and attention with each passing day. Reports such as this one are critical to amassing the awareness and budget required to push back today's sophisticated adversaries and stay out of the headlines.
We hope you enjoy the report and keep coming back for more. We'd love to hear your comments below.
