CHICAGO - October 9, 2012 - Trustwave, a leading provider of cloud-based compliance and information security solutions, today announced the appointment of William "Bill" G. Barker III as Chief Financial Officer and Alice Lin Geene as General Counsel.

Barker will have responsibility for all of Trustwave's finance, accounting, treasury, tax, and investor relations functions. He brings nearly 30 years of finance experience and most recently served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Federal Signal Corporation. Prior to that role, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at the Sun-Times Media Group, Inc. Barker has also held senior finance positions at Pepsico, Inc. and The Quaker Oats Company. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree in finance and accounting from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Dartmouth College.
As General Counsel, Geene, who joined the company in September, is responsible for all of Trustwave's global legal matters and the company's audit, corporate information security, compliance and quality assurance teams and will also serve as Corporate Secretary. She was most recently Group Vice President and Interim General Counsel at Orbitz Worldwide, Inc. and prior to that role served as Orbitz' Deputy General Counsel. She has held senior legal positions at numerous technology companies, including Schrodinger, Inc. and Juno Online Services, Inc., two portfolio companies of D. E. Shaw & Co., L.P. She started her legal career at Hughes Hubbard & Reed in New York City. She received her J.D. from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Harvard College.
