CHICAGO - July 9, 2018 - Trustwave today announced that industry analyst firm International Data Corporation (IDC) has named Trustwave a Leader in the IDC MarketScape: Asia/Pacific Managed Security Services 2018¹.

The report assessed and compared 19 organizations that offer managed security services in the Asia Pacific region and was based on several parameters including: comprehensiveness of service offerings, portfolio benefits, delivery model, market execution, cost competitiveness, platform capabilities and customer services. Trustwave catapulted to a Leader position, up from the Major Player category the previous year, through aggressive regional expansion, a threat intelligence-led approach for delivering higher-value security services and connectivity support across the datacenter and cloud.

Serving as the backbone of Trustwave's managed security offerings, they were also responsible for discovering several new malicious threats and coding vulnerabilities.
• New Managed Security Service Offerings - Trustwave unveiled a highly advanced threat hunting service to heighten its Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services. Led by Trustwave SpiderLabs, threat hunting uses behavioral analytics and proprietary threat intelligence to actively search for, isolate, and kill advance persistent threats and other hard to detect malicious activities to stop cataclysmic damage before it occurs and/or greatly lessening its impact.
• Strengthened Channel Program - To address and capture the growing demand for managed security services in the Asia Pacific region, Trustwave bolstered its global channel partner program by incorporating robust training regimens and curriculums designed to help resellers better understand industry specific and regional security challenges and articulate key advantages offered through the Trustwave model.
