Jim Ritchings joins Trustwave to drive channel growth and success in cybersecurity and managed security services
CHICAGO - October 25, 2016 - Trustwave today announced the appointment of Jim Ritchings as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Channel Sales.
Trustwave Executive Vice President of Global Sales Dave Feringa said, "Jim brings to Trustwave a strong background characterized by driving incremental revenue through partnerships on a global basis. With Jim at the helm as our channel chief, he will help Trustwave expand its leadership in cybersecurity and managed security services among our channel partners. He's a strong channel advocate who will forge stronger relationships with key channel partners including value added resellers, distributors and telecommunications providers."
Trustwave has more than a thousand channel partners worldwide. Additionally Trustwave has forged relationships with some of the world's largest telecommunications providers including Singtel (Singapore), Optus (Australia), Globe (Philippines), Rogers Communications (Canada), and is rapidly expanding with other partnerships planned in the near future. Trustwave has also expanded its global network of federated Advanced Security Operations Centers to support its telco partners.
Previously, Ritchings was Senior Vice President of Worldwide Channels at F5 Networks responsible for F5's worldwide channel strategy, including value added resellers, global system integrators, managed services providers, and cloud service providers. He also served as Senior Vice President of Business Development, where he founded, developed and ran a global organization that focused on building revenue-producing partnerships with industry-leading application and technology providers. Prior to joining F5, Ritchings spent 15 years in sales and channel leadership positions at Sequent, DataChannel and Unisys.
He received a bachelor's degree, cum laude, from Rowan University.
